Japan is an ancient and proud culture. The 2011 earthquake and Tsunami brought devastation, Jesse and Gypsi Town, responded to the disaster. Jesse had grown up in Japan and speaks Japanese fluently and understands the culture. When their relief work was completed, they made the decision to stay and help the new believers and start a church. ICCM personnel have known Gypsi and her family since she was born, so it was with great joy that we hired Gypsi to work with us in setting up a project in Japan to minister to the Japanese church and to the unreached people of Japan.
While Jesse is involved in leading seminars, music and outreach programs. Gyspi Town is on staff of ICCM. They are working primarily in the areas of Ome, Tokyo, Japan with occasional outreachs in Kobuchizawa, Yamanashi Ken and Nojiri, Nagano-Kan
The goals of our project are:
- To better enable the Christian Church to effectively apply the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- To address dysfunctional marriages, poor parenting and broken relationships in modern day Japan.
- Providing instruction at retreats, seminars, conferences and other group meetings. Church Planting and church growth activities.
- Discipling and developing close relationships through one on one mentoring.
